Luke 17:12-19
And entering into a certain village, ten leprous men, who stood far off, met Him. And they lifted up their voice, saying, “Jesus, Master, deal kindly with us.”
And seeing them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And it came to pass, in leaving, they were cleansed.
And one of them, seeing that he was healed, turned back with a loud voice, glorifying God. And He fell on his face at His feet, giving thanks to Him. And he was a Samaritan.
And Jesus answered and said, “Were not the ten cleansed? And the nine, where are they? Those who turned back to give glory to God were not found, except this stranger.”
And He said to him, “Rise. Go. Your faith has saved you.”
Since only one came back and thanked Jesus for being healed, he was able to be declared a fish. As Jesus said, his faith saved him.
