Luke 10:38-42
And as they went, He entered into a certain village, and a certain woman named Martha received Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also, sitting beside the feet of Jesus, heard His words.
But Martha was distracted about all the serving. And standing by Him, she said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister left me alone to serve? Tell her that she must be helping me.”
But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and disquieted about many things. But there is need of one thing, for Mary chose the good part, which will not be taken from her.”
We are introduced to Martha here and it seems that Jesus implies that Martha chose the bad, but we also know that Jesus loved Martha (John 11:5). This is more a teaching point, in my opinion.
