John 1:45-51
Philip found Nathaniel, and said to him, “We have found Him of Whom Moses wrote in the Law, and the prophets – Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth.” And Nathaniel said to Him, “Is any good thing able to come from Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” Jesus saw Nathaniel coming to Him, and He said concerning him, “Behold, truly an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.” Nathaniel said to Him, “From which place do You know me?” Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, you were under the fig tree. I saw you.” Nathaniel answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God. You are the King of Israel.” Jesus answered and said to him, “You believe because I said to you, ‘I saw you under the fig-tree’. You will see greater things than these.” And He said to him, “Truly, truly I say to you, [hereafter]T you will see Heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.”

Some say that Nathaniel is a different person than Bartholomew. I’m leaving them together as one person because usually when you see Philip, he’s with Bartholomew in the synoptic Gospels, but in John he’s with Nathaniel. Bartholomew is Aramaic for son of Tolmai. Most likely he was Nathaniel, son of Tolmai.
I’ll add more here once I get my list together.
