I’ve started studying some things, busy at work, and just feeling kind of blah.
Now I want to start making more posts – some to update my 153 Fish main theme, but some to address questions like “What do you say to an atheist who calls Jesus a false prophet because He didn’t come back when He said He would?”. That will be an interesting one.
Another thing I’ve been doing is playing American Truck Simulator and I started noticing churches in most cities within the game. Some are rather generic, yet others were unique and elaborate. I found that the unique ones were actually modeled after real churches in the real world. I used Google maps with satellite view along with street view. I was planning on using convoy mode on the game to take other players on tours of these churches. Maybe I’ll start with a section on this blog highlighting my favorites.
Then I had the idea to try the same thing in Euro Truck Simulator and maybe visit the cities mentioned in the Bible. I found Corinth, but no church yet, but the canal going through the middle of the city was cool. I also found Thessolonica, but haven’t explored much yet. Siang on the Isle of Rhodes, I found a monastery down a road that’s not on the map. It’s kind of exhilarating when I find the church on Google and the games depiction pretty much matches what Google shows.
So that’s basically it. Oh, I did see that 2025 had had the most visitors from more countries than any year since this started in 2020. That’s encouraging to me.
God Bless!
