Several weeks ago I came across a video about the KJV Bible in my YouTube feed. It was an interview about the book Sealed by the King. It was an eye-opener for me. He has a video about the number 153 and 2 things caught my attention – the name Peter occurs in 153 verses in the New Testament, as did Paul. No other names occur in exactly 153 verses. There’s a lot more to 153 in the KJV. The surprising thing is that these patterns don’t occur in other translations.
The pattern that really caught my eye was that the name of Jesus is mentioned 980 times in the New Testament. That’s 70 x 7 + 70 x 7, with 70 x7 being the number of times that Jesus told Peter that he was to forgive someone. What makes it miraculous is that if you take the odd books of the NT ( Matthew, Luke, Acts…), you get 490 mentions of Jesus. You also get 490 in the even books (Mark, John, Romans…). That’s no mere coincidence when the odd books have over 50k more words than the even books. Get all the details here or the video here.
I titled this Only in the KJV because these patterns don’t occur in other translations, and to differentiate from KJV Only
