The Woman Caught in Adultery

I just posted Encounter 45 about the adulterous woman. Some questions that a lot of people have are “What did Jesus write in the dust? Was He just doodling to pass time as He waited for the accusers to leave?” I think He was making a point and most likely referring to Jeremiah 17:13 –

Jeremiah 17:13 (ESV)
13  O LORD, the hope of Israel,
all who forsake you shall be put to shame;
those who turn away from you shall be written in the earth,
for they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living water.
