Winter Doldrums

Sorry I haven’t written for a bit, but I’ve been suffering from the winter doldrums… I know, poor excuse. I’ve been neglecting some of my other projects as well – trying to build a full scale Noah’s Ark in a virtual world or two, as well as building a 1/350 scale model of Noah’s Ark in real life and have it side by side with another model of the same scale of a Frigate that I was on while in the Navy just to compare the size.

So what got me going again? I have been checking the stats to see how many people visit this site. I was feeling a little down at the low numbers of viewers until the last few days. The numbers have spiked – mostly because this web site ( https://www.carm.org/the-bible/153-fish-john-21-11/ ) has a link to this one. Thank you CARM! They have some good resources for other obscure passages found in the Bible. At one time I actually had a copy of the notebook that is a compilation of all the pages on that site. Not sure what happened to it but good to see that they are still around.

I also noticed that there are several countries that have visited, but it seems that they are mostly search engines. At least this site is getting out there. Here’s the countries that have visited: United States, Singapore, Germany, Philippines, Netherlands, Finland, United Kingdom, and Canada.

I realize I shouldn’t focus on who visits this site, but on getting more people to read their Bibles with thinking minds. This issue of 153 fish is usually glossed over, so people who do look into this usually are the thinkers. We need more thinkers, “YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MINDMatthew 22:37
